1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
Black pepper, to taste
For the creamy sauce:
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon tahini (sesame puree) or peanut butter
For serving:
Cooked rice or cauliflower rice
Sliced green onions (optional)
Toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate the Beef:
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or brown sugar), minced garlic, and black pepper.
Add the beef slices and coat them well. Cover and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge for better flavor).
Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, soy sauce, and tahini (or peanut butter) until smooth. Set aside.
Cook the Beef:
Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the marinated beef slices for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until nicely caramelized and cooked to your preferred doneness.
Assemble the Bowl:
Serve the grilled beef over a bowl of hot rice or cauliflower rice.
Drizzle the creamy sauce on top.
Garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds, if desired.
