Squash Purée
Squash Purée Recipe
Start by washing, peeling, and deseeding your squash before cutting it into small cubes.
Set up your Nutribaby(+) cooking station in XXL mode (stack both baskets and place only one of the trays at the bottom of the lower basket). Then, initiate a cooking cycle for 16 minutes.
Once cooking is complete, transfer the squash cubes to the blending area.
Add ¼ of the cooking juice. Blend in bursts at speed 3.
If the texture is too thick for your liking, add 1/3 of the remaining cooking juice.
Squash is a water-rich vegetable, so there’s no need to use too much cooking juice.
Tip
If you scoop directly from the storage container to feed your baby, do not keep the leftover purée; discard it. Once it has mixed with your baby’s saliva, the purée may harbor bacteria from their mouth. Therefore, for the first servings, it’s best to take the desired amount and place it on a small plate. The remaining purée can then be stored in the fridge for 24 hours and offered at the next meal. For a texture suitable for older babies, prefer blending speed 2 (smooth) or 1 (with chunks).
Snack: Banana Cream
Peel the banana and cut it into small pieces.
Blend the pieces with the fromage frais.
Pour the juice of half a lemon over the banana pieces to prevent oxidation. Serve chilled 🙂
